n
•

June 4, 1969
CA5 E NO:
APPLICANT:
LOCATION:

515-69
Robert Schrneder
North of McCarron oulevard ($ee Sketch)
ACTION REQUST'ED: Variance to Front Yard Setback Requirement
PLANNING CONSIDERATIONS:
1. The property in qestion is now occupied by a home, which the applicant
proposes to remadel and expand so as to bring a portion of the hame within
20 feet of the right-of-way. Thus, in accnrdance with the application ,
the applicant proposes to vary the front yard setback from 30 feet fo 20 feet.
2. The applicant has submitted a site plan ir;dicating the existin ho,e to be
64 feet frorn the centerline of lIlcCarror Boulevard and where the proposed
structure is to be 53 fePt from the centerline of McCarron Bulevard. If
the sfireet is a normal 66 foot right-of-way as McCarron Boulevard was afi
one time, these figures would be consistent with the 20 foot setback applied
for. However, the sction maps indicate that McCarron Boulevard in this
area is 99 feet ii width. The site plan submitted does nnt indicate the
north right-of-way linc of McCarron Boulevard, but merely refers to the
centrline, Thus, there is some question as to exact location af the north
side of the right-of-way in relationship to the sxisfing and proposed homeo
3. It would appear that the proposed expansion is a major one and would
cnstitute a considerable improvement to the site, It is important, hnwever,
to ascertain the exact relationship between the proposed structure and the
r igh r-of-way o
;
,;
_ ::t
