T0: <br />rROM: <br />Village Council <br />George Membrez, Secretary Planning Comrnis�ion <br />SUBJECT: File 64-172 Rezoning rec�uest from Southtown I3aptist <br />Chuxch of the property at the North►vest corner of <br />Hamline and Judith <br />The Planning Con�iission by a unanimous vote recommends the <br />request be granted; that is, the west portion of the property <br />from R-1 to R-3, a stxip of 90 x 150 in the center from R-1 <br />to B-1 and 150 x 273 on I-iamlzne Avenue from R-1 to B-3. <br />The patitioner agreed to dedicate 30 feet for Juditli anu 10 feet <br />to widen f�Iamline Avenue. I-Ie also understands that considerable <br />planning and work must be done to drain the area so tliat property <br />can be developed. He is also aware tl�at �vhen the proposed 60 <br />foot street between the Foodtown Shopping Center and t}le subject <br />pxop�rty is graded the benefited property owners will }iave to pay <br />the �o�t of grading and finishing the street according to Village <br />specification�.
