The Slaters reiterated that they <br />are not in a position to put a Zarge amount of cash into any <br />settlement. <br />With a cash settlement being out of the question for the t�.me <br />being, we discussed physical solutions that might mitigate the <br />problem. We sugqested as a starting point the kind of view and <br />activity that the neighboring 1ot would have if a single family <br />home w�re buiit on t�e Slaters� north lot. There would be <br />structures (h�me and garage) within 10' of the prQperty line and <br />the owner might stoxe a.boat in the back yard. (In fact, City Code <br />would not preve�t an owner fram storing many boats in the baa}� <br />yardj. The solu�ion, th�refor�, might involve fencing and <br />landscaping to screen �he view from �the �uture living room and back <br />yarc� of a3.1. but �ne or two c�f the stored boats.
