His hous� is on one of the lots, the other <br />lot is vacant. His two lo�s, together with his neighbor's lot, are <br />all guided LR, but zoned R-� (3- or 4-unit dwellings). When <br />assessments are made far the upce�minc� H�mline Avenue recon- <br />struction, the R-4 property �i11 be assessed 100$, where�s R-1 an�d <br />R-2 proper�y is not assessed at a11. Mr. Nelson is faced with <br />$10,000 in assessments, and came in to inquire about r�zonin� the <br />property to R-1 or R-2. He has no aspiration� for develo�ing th�e <br />prop�rty according to the R-4 zoning. W� told h�im there should be <br />no problem with such a request, since the property is �uided f�r <br />low densi�y resideriti�l. The assessmenk� will not be of�icially <br />levied until August, 1992.
