Definition of News a er Rece tacles. <br />For the purposes, of this ordinance, a"newspaper receptacle" is <br />any outside device, whether tubular, box shaped, or otherwise <br />designed for and used to receive newspapers, advertising flyers, <br />or similar printed material delivered by a carrier. Included in <br />this definition are such devices which may be attached to the <br />sides of buildings, free s�anding posts, mailbox posts, and <br />other outside structures. <br />84.020. Newspaber Recet�tacles Limited <br />Newspaper receptacles are prohibited in public rigi,;its-of-way <br />except at the roadway curb of each lot; no more th�n two (2) <br />newspaper receptacles may�be attached to a rural delivery <br />mailbox post. On lots where no mailbox post is available or <br />where such placement is impractical, no more than two (2) <br />newspaper receptacles may be placed on a sin le <br />that if there is a mailbox on the lo�, the newspapers receptacle <br />post shall be located within eighteen (18) inches of the mailbox <br />post. In no event will there be more than two (2 news � <br />receptacles on any lot. � paper <br />84.030. Exceptions. <br />1. Where rural mailboxes are located on one side of the stre <br />newspaper receptacles may be placed on the side of the <br />street where the residence is located, or on th�e mailbox <br />post, or within eighteen (18) inches of the mailbox post, i� <br />accordance with Section 84.020, regardless of which side of <br />the street the mailbox is located. <br />2• On lats where more than one dwelling unit is located, no <br />more than two (2) newspaper receptacles may be placed for <br />each dwelling unit. <br />84.040.
