� � ��°�� 1 � �� April 6, 1990 Mr. Gerald Heppner 2�57 Griggs Street Rosevil.le, MN 55113 Dear Mr. Heppne�: Some time ago, you wrote a let�ter to the City Manager concerning the Can-Am project at Lexington and Woodhill. in tha� lettero �ou expressed concern about the berms, landscaping, and barrier� o� the ends of Judith Street anci Count Road C2. has been working with tY�e de�el.oper o insure that ��hese items are properly addressecl. The drawings that were approv�cl by the City da not show a continuous berm along the west edge adjacent to the residences on Griggs. The plans show �a vari�ble be�m. it was also determined that the berms, unl ss ecarefu llyhhandled� would impede the natural cirainage flow from the resi�lential propert�r onto �the Can-Am sitee '�herefore, breaks are necessary ta insure that the berms do not act like a dam which ca�se water problems in the back yards of the residences. We have asked, however, that Can-,Am extend the berm to z�arrow �Che gap at the end of Judith Street and in back of Warrea� Sarenson's house a� 2g12 Griggs Avenue. Th e developer is now in the process of installing the landscaping. S+�aff will inspect the landscaping wh�n the installation is done to insure that the amo�nt and location of tk�e plantings are consistent with the lar� a Council, A barrier has been constru�ted atp the e nd �of h�County Road C2. The t r� e e s t i i a t h a v e b een p lan te d at the end of Judith Street will be enou gh of a b a r r i e r so no a dditional barrier should be required there.
