Wa.lclron
Rick Jopke
Analysis of Petition requesting rezoning of Reiling
site to R1.
After reviewing the peitior which was submitted concerning tlhe
Reiling site, I have discovered that there is, in fact, two -
petitions . One petition covers the northern portio of the s.te
and the othr coyers tha southern portion of the sita.
I have reviewd the petitions and hve determined that all the
signaiures appear to be valid based Qn the Official I2amsey otanty
Abstract af TitlP. There ae signatures ai owners of 1.8 of he
24 propertie which immediately abut th property as described on
.he petitions. This is 75%. This percentage exceeds the 50%
required by ordinance. Therefore, I conclude that it is a valid
peiticn which should be brought to the Council for referral to
the Planning Cmmission.
I called Leslie Berrr about the petition and about the fact that
the ioratorium was not in place. She referred me to Larry Bieza
nd Marilyn Piersdlorf . I have talked to Marilyn Piexsdorf and
Larry Bieza and let them know we need to have the application and
fee to have the council conside the petitions. I also informed
them that the moratorium is not in place. They have subsequently
completed and filed the app.ication and paid the application fee.
