Subsequent ta hearings previously held regarding the development of th
Coneordia School Site by the Brutger Companies, the Brutger
represenatives have considerably revised the development proposal to
meet the neihbors' concerns. Several meetings were held with the
staff and various options wrre rviewed. The current proposal is to
enhance the transition frnm the residential area to the east by
constructing seven single-family lots on the east side of the property
(contiguous to the single-family homes off Lovell Avenue ta the orth).
The canstrctinn of two 10 unit cluster homes, two staries high in the
sautheast portion of the tract where the development i contiguous to
the Vietnamese Church is also proposed. Here, these units will be built
130 feet back from the east property line allowing for the more
spacious transition from the Church to the west properties and the
develoment proposed. The larger three story buildings will be 300 fet
(about one city block) from the Vietnamese property. Thus, there has
been a serious attempt to reduce the visual impact on the Church
snvirons.
2.
