Owasso Boulevard (etty Cartwri.ght)
Staff has been reviewing a dispue which has ben occurring
between Betty Carwright (3062 W. Owasso Boulevard) and her
neighbar Gary Wood (3060 W. OJasso 'ioulevard). The dispute
relats specifically to the location of_ the property line betweFn
th two properties in question. A. survey done by Mr. Woad
revegled that the property line was approximately 8 feet further
north than Mrs. Cartwright believed it to be. The nearest part
of Mr;s. Cartwright's house is 10 1-1/2 feet from tYe property
line in quesion. Mr. Wood constructed a new house whi.ch has a
setba:k of approximately 7 feet. The minimum setback allowed in
that area is five feet.
Staff has rv.ewed he attached letter received from Mrs.
Cart, righ and i.npected the properties. Staff has found that
whil the two dwellings are cl.oser together han is normally
permiited, Mre Wooa's house and ence comply with city ordinance
requirements and permits were issued on that basis. The only
outstanding issue.s are for Mr. Woods te complete grading af the
sicieyard to prevent any soil eosian problems or damages to Mrs.
Cartwright's property, and to insure that his clog does rot
violate any animal nuisance laws of the City. Staff has not
faund any violations f dog nusance laws to this point.
