The Minnesota Land <br />Deve.lopment Company, which is a partnership of myself and my <br />s�n; hav� purchased -�he land surrounding the Kalin property. <br />l�,�ing west of Western Avenue to its intersection with South <br />Qwasso Blvd. Land by Phillip Martin lies to the north and <br />land being developed by Ray Kroiss and WEstern Slopes lies <br />to the south. <br />I was advised by Donald 0. Carley of Milner W, Carley <br />and Associa�tes that by January 9, 1.961 he had p.laced all of <br />the iniormatio:� necessary for sui�mitting a plat to the Village <br />Coun�il of Roseville including the topographical map, with the <br />excep�tion of a name. At that time he prepared for me two possible <br />proposed plats. I was not aware until the last day or so that <br />Mr. Kalin was platting part of his property. I am fearf ul that <br />the pl.at of his small portion m�y adversely affect the remainder <br />of th� l�nd and its f uture platting . <br />We are asking that the Counci?_ t�mporarily delay the matter <br />for the purpose of referring the entire proposa]_ to the Planning <br />Commission. This is not to say that we are opposed to the pro- <br />posed Ka1in plat but we be.lieve that the Planning C ommission and <br />Mr. Dahlgren should have an opportunity of looking the whole <br />matter over bef ore the Council proceeds with this sma.11er plat. <br />In order to assist you I enclose the following: <br />l. The topographica.l map of the area. <br />2. One proposed plat of the 26.3 acres consisting of 71 <br />.lot s . <br />3. Another proposed plat of the 26.3 acres consisting of <br />65 lots. <br />� <br />� <br />
