I would like to ask that each <br />one of you consider two or three items that you think I should <br />ac�dress 3,n that policy. I would ask that you submit your ideas <br />to m� in writing wf thf n�the next two �eeks . <br />�econdl�, th$re has been some concern regarding some af the <br />t�r�inolog� used by the male staff as it relates to our female <br />coTleaques. The attach�c{ article states that cal�.ing the female <br />workera ��girls" is sexist and perpetuates the idea that f�males <br />are helpless and childlike creatures. The article also points <br />ou�k that most business wom�n also do nat like to �e �called <br />ladies. I would ask that all �of us make an effort to utilize <br />proper a��nd contemporary terminology which recommends the rnodern <br />usage of the term ��wome�" when referring to the �dult females of <br />a pa�t�cuYar staff. <br />� a�apr�ciate your attention to both of these matters. <br />
