<br />~ <br /> <br />City of Roseville <br />Ordinance No. 1220 <br /> <br />AN INTERIM ORDINANCE TEMPORARILY PROHIBITING DEVELOPMENT <br />WITHIN THE "S-C" ZONING DISRICT FOR PARCELS ADJACENT TO AREAS ZONED FOR <br />RESIDENTIAL USES <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />Section I. The following terms when used in this ordinance shall mean: <br />Official Controls: Ordinances and regulations which control physical development, including ordinances <br />establishing zoning, subdivision controls, site plan regulations, sanitary codes, and official maps. <br />Zoning Approvals: Rezoning, land use guide plan changes, conditional use permits, interim use permits, <br />variances, site plan approval, planned unit development approval. <br /> <br />Section II. Intent It is the intent of this ordinance to allow the City of Roseville time to <br />complete an in-depth study concerning changes in official controls, including the City's zoning ordinance, <br />and in the interim to protect the planning process and the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of the <br />community. <br /> <br />Section III. Temporary Prohibition. Pending the completion of the above referenced <br />study and adoption of appropriate official controls, no building permits, subdivision or zoning approvals <br />shall be processed or approved and no applications for such approval shall be accepted for property within <br />the "S-C" Zoning District which is adjacent to areas zoned for residential uses. <br /> <br />Section IV. Effective Date.
