March 14, 2016 <br />TO THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA <br />RE: Victoria Street Reconstruction <br />Contract Acceptance and Final Payment <br />Dear Council Members: <br />I have observed the work executed as a part of the Victoria Street Reconstruction Project. I find <br />that this contract has been fully completed in all respects according to the plans, specifications, <br />and the contract. I therefore recommend that final payment be made from the improvement fund <br />to the contractors for the balance on the contract as follows: <br />Original Contract amount (based on estimated quantities) $1,809,925.93 <br />Final Contract Amount $2,535,734.26 <br />Actual amount due (based on actual quantities) $2,510,717.12 <br />Previous payments $2,416,906.36 <br />Balance Due $93,810.76 <br />The construction costs for this project have been funded as follows: <br />Municipal State Aid $1,446,185.75 <br />Property Owner Assessments $184,747.81 <br />Water Fund $77,469.97 <br />Storm Water Fund $603,630.86 <br />Parks Renewal $120,000.00 <br />Ramsey County $78,682.72 <br />Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns and would like more information. <br />Sincerely, <br />Jesse Freihammer, P.E <br />City Engineer/Asst.
