<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1238 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ROSEVILLE CITY CODE, <br />SECTION 1005.016, REGARDING OUTDOOR SALES AND SIGNAGE <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. PURPOSE. The purpose of this Ordinance is to clarify the <br />Sections of the City Code relating to outdoor storage and display and duration of <br />display. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. Section 1005.01 G2 is hereby amended as follows: <br /> <br />1005.01 G.2. Temporary outside display of merchandise without a building or <br />protective structure may be established for up to twelve calendarßays a year <br />after the issuance of a temporary display permit by the Chief Code <br />Enforcement Officer in any of the following business districts where retail <br />sales are allowed: B-2, B-3, B-4 and Shopping Center Districts. A single <br />temporary display sign, not to exceed 20 square feet, within 10 feet of the <br />sales area, and with property owner approval, may be placed on a wall or <br />solid surface for the twelve day temporary sale. A site plan indicating the <br />location of the sales area and sign shall be provided to the City for review <br />and approval. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. Section 1005.01 G3 is hereby renamed Section 1005.01 G4. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. Section 1005.01 G4 is hereby renamed Section 1005.01 G5. <br /> <br />SECTION 5. Section 1005.01 is hereby amended by adding Section 1005.01G3 <br />(a new Section) as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1005.01 G.3. Incidental or seasonal sales, such as produce, <br />nursery, or greenhouse sales, including an accessory structure may be <br />permitted after issuance of a Seasonal Sales Permit for a period not to exceed <br />ninety (90) calendar days, after review of the following criteria submitted <br />with the permit application: <br /> <br />a. The amount of outside sales area comp¡µ-ed to the amount of inside sales <br />space. <br />b. Location of the outside sales area and the extent it encroaches on required <br />setbacks. <br />c. Impact on traffic and pedestrian circulation on the site. <br />d. Impact on parking on the site. <br />e. The height of merchandise displays. <br />
