Thanks for your comments, Mr. and Mrs. Polson. <br />We agree that traffic from new development in that location has the greatest potential for adverse impacts, and <br />staff from Roseville and Ramsey County are currently evaluating what those impacts might be. At the same <br />time, it doesn’t make much sense from zoning perspective to require that parcel to remain zoned just for single- <br />family development when it is only a small corner in a much larger area that is zoned for medium-density and <br />high-density development. Perhaps the proposed high-density zoning isn’t the proper fit in that location, but I <br />would be surprised if some sort of rezoning doesn’t occur in the near future simply because the existing zoning <br />is also somewhat unreasonable. <br />Nevertheless, you’re correct that the Planning Commission meeting at which this proposal will be discussed is <br />scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2016. <br />Thanks again for your input, and I’ll look forward to seeing you next week. <br />Bryan Lloyd <br />Senior Planner <br />City of Roseville <br />(651) 792-7073 <br /> <br />
