Regular Planning CommissionMeeting <br />Minutes –Wednesday, October 7, 2015 <br />Page 20 <br />By consensus of the Commission when polled, Member Murphy was asked to remain and <br />961 <br />participate in this discussion and any action taken. <br />962 <br />Community Development Director Bilotta briefly reviewed the City’s contemplated acquisition of <br />963 <br />propertycontaining the Owasso ballfields at County Road C and Victoria Street and its <br />964 <br />contemplated disposal of the HDR lot located at 2668Lexington Avenue for access to the Unite <br />965 <br />Properties development. <br />966 <br />Chair Boguszewski opened and closed the public hearing at 10:16 p.m.; no one spokefor or <br />967 <br />against. <br />968 <br />MOTION –lines 37-39 <br />969 <br />Member Bullmoved, seconded by Member Gitzenthe Planning Commission’s review and <br />970 <br />ratification of the City Council’s disposal of subject parcels in compliance with the 2030 <br />971 <br />Comprehensive Plan; based on the comments, findings and recommendations of the staff <br />972 <br />report dated October 7, 2015. <br />973 <br />At the request of Chair Boguszewski, Mr. Bilotta confirmed that Independent School District 623 <br />974 <br />would serve to benefit from an affirming vote by the Commission tonight, specific to cash value of <br />975 <br />the property. <br />976 <br />With that confirmation, Chair Boguszewski stated that as a current candidate for the I.S.D. 623 <br />977 <br />School Board, he would recuse himself from the actual vote, but would continue to serve in his <br />978 <br />role as Chair of the Planning Commission. <br />979 <br />Ayes:6 <br />980 <br />Nays: 0 <br />981 <br />Abstentions: 1 (Boguszewski) <br />982 <br />Motion carried. <br />983 <br />7.Adjourn <br />984 <br />With no further business to come before the Commission, Chair Boguszewski adjourned the <br />985 <br />meeting at 10:18 p.m. <br />986 <br /> <br />
