EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIIE CITY OF ROSEVILLE � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 1 lth day of April, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: McGehee, Willmus, Laliberte, Etten and Roe and the following were absent; None. Member McGehee introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION No. 11311 RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS FOR 2016 PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PROJECT' WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on Tuesday, April 5, at 1:00 p.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Contractor Bid T.A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc. $2,737,436.80 Park Construction Co. $2,792,711.43 North Valley, Inc. $2,834,424.49 Hardrives, Inc. $2,996,742.76 WHEREAS, it appears that T.A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc. of North St Paul, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of $2,737,436.80. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: l. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with T.A. Schifslcy & Sons, Inc. for $2,737,436.80 in the name of the City of Roseville for the above improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Manager. 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed.
