Attachment D <br />City of Roseville Draft Tree Preservation Ordinance <br />Planning Commission Public Hearing <br />10-6-15 <br /> <br /> <br />3.Common Trees: <br />1 <br />a.All deciduous trees with DBH measurements of six (6) inches or greater, but less than <br />2 <br />twelve (12) inches. <br />3 <br />b.All coniferous trees that are twelve (12) feet tall or greater, but less than twenty-five <br />4 <br />(25) feet in height. <br />5 <br />4.Exempt: <br />6 <br />In lieu of one of the above classifications, an inventoried tree may be classified as <br />7 <br />“Exempt” if a registered forester or certified arborist certifies that one or more of the <br />8 <br />following conditions are met: <br />9 <br />a.The tree is identified as an Invasive Species and must be removed. <br />10 <br />b.The tree suffers from a major insect or pathological problem that cannot be resolved; <br />11 <br />c.The tree is experiencing extensive decay or hollow; or <br />12 <br />13 <br />d.The tree has suffered damage or is in poor condition such that it has a life expectancy <br />14 <br />of less than ten (10) years. <br />15 <br />F.Incentive Multipliers <br />Commented \[BGA12\]: <br />16 <br />“Incentive Multipliers” are <br />essentially replacement rates for each classification type, <br />To incentivize the protection and preservation of the most important trees within the <br />17 but we are also using them to provide bonuses when trees <br />are preserved over and above what is required.
