CITY OF ROSEVILLE ORDINANCE NO. 1244 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE III, CHAPTER 304, LAWFUL GAMBLING, AND TITLE X, CHAPTERS 1002, 1005, AND 1007 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE CONCERNING DEFINITIONS AND THE LOCATION OF A BINGO HALL AS A PERMITTED OR CONDITIONAL USE WITHIN VARIOUS ZONING DISTRICTS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Title III, Chapter 304, Section 304.02 B. of the Roseville City Code is amended to read as follows: B. The maximum number of bingo hall licenses and locations issued pursuant to Minnesota Statute section 349.164 within the City shall be one. Once the bingo hall license is issued by the City, it shall be limited to the location and to the owner specified on the license. Any change of location or ownership without the approval of the City shall result in the termination of the license. SECTION 2. Title X, Chapter 1002, Section 1002.02 of the Roseville City Code is amended by adding the following definition: BINGO HALL: A principal or accessory use of a structure or property to operate a bingo hall licensed under Chapter 304 of the Roseville City Code and Minnesota Statute section 349.164. SECTION 3. Title X, Chapter 1005, Section 1005.02, B-1 Limited Business District, Subsection "c" (Uses Allowed by Conditional Use Permit) of the Roseville City Code is amended by adding the following: 16. A bingo hall. SECTION 4. Title X, Chapter 1005, Section 1005.03, B-1B Limited Retail Districts, Subsection "B. 2" (Uses Allowed by Conditional Use Permit), of the Roseville City Code is amended by adding the following: 7. A bingo hall, provided the bingo hall shall not be subject to the highway setback distance requirements in this Section. SECTION 5. Title X, Chapter 1005, Section 1005.04: B-2 Retail Business District, Subsection "c" (Uses Allowed by Conditional Use Permit), of the Roseville City Code is amended by adding the following: 22. A bingo hall. -
