<br />REQUEST FOR CITY COUNCIL ACTION <br />05/23/2016 <br /> Agenda Date: <br /> Agenda Item: 8.g <br />Department Approval City Manager Approval <br /> <br />Item Description: Adopt a resolution authorizing a pilot program for greater notification of <br />specific land use applications. <br /> <br /> <br />B <br />Њ <br />ACKGROUND <br />On Monday, May 16, 2016, the Planning Division and City Council discussed implementation of <br />Ћ <br />the Zoning Notification Task Force (ZNTF) report recommendations and beginning a six month <br />Ќ <br />pilot program to determine effectiveness of the recommendations. After the discussion with the <br />Ѝ <br />City Council the Planning Division determined that a resolution temporarily staying the existing <br />Ў <br />Code requirements, procedures, and fees was in order to provide applicants of Comprehensive <br />Џ <br />Plan Map Change, Zoning Map Change, Interim Use, Subdivision Plat, and Planned Unit <br />А <br />Development applications clear and concise temporary procedures. <br />Б <br />A resolution has been attached that outlines the pilot program for greater notification through <br />В <br />November 30, 2016. <br />ЊЉ <br />RCA <br />ЊЊ <br />EQUESTED OUNCIL CTION <br />By motion, adopt a resolution creating a six month pilot open house and public hearing <br />ЊЋ <br />notification policy. <br />ЊЌ <br /> <br />ЊЍ <br />Prepared by: Kari Collins, Interim Community Development Director/Thomas Paschke, City <br />Planner <br /> <br /> <br />Attachments: A: Draft resolution <br /> <br /> <br />
