EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, was held on the 13t�' day of June 2016 at <br />6:00 p.m. <br />The following Members were present: Laliberte, McGehee, Willmus, Etten and Roe <br />and none were absent. <br />Council Member Roe introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 11330 <br />A 12ESOLUTION MEMORIALIZING THE DENIAL OF A REQUEST TO AMEND <br />ZONING TEXT PERTAINING TO THE AMOUNT OF BUILDING FOOTPRINT AND <br />PAVED SURFACE ALLOWED IN THE LDR-2 ZONING DISTRICT (PF16-010) <br />WHEREAS, City of Roseville has received a valid application for approval of the <br />requested zoning text amendment; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council, at its regular meeting on 1VIay 23, 2016, <br />reviewed the application along with the record from public proceedings, including memoranda <br />and City staff report and public consideration by and between the City Council, and denied the <br />application based on the following factual findings: <br />• That percentage of impervious coverage would create an undesirable amount of runoff; <br />• That percentage would be too limiting of sufficient green space between or surrounding <br />individual homes; and � <br />• That percentage would change the character of LDR-2 neighborhoods. <br />AND WHEREAS, said findings of fact underpinning the denial were reported to the <br />applicant in a letter dated May 26, 2016; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, that the application discussed herein was denied on May 23, 2016. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member McGehee and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: : <br />Laliberte, McGehee, Willmus, Etten and Roe and none voted against. <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
