<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1253 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE II, CHAPTERS 203 <br />AND 204, OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE RELATING TO THE <br />COMPOSITION AND MEMBERSHIP OF THE CITY PARKS AND <br />RECREATION AND HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSIONS, <br />PROVIDING FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF EX OFFICIO YOUTH <br />COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE ORDAINS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Section 203.01 of the Roseville City Code regarding the <br />composition of the City Parks and Recreation Commission is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />203.01: ESTABLISHMENT AND MEMBERSHIP: <br />There is established a Parks and Recreation Commission of the City, which shall consist <br />of nine (9) members, appointed by the City Council. Members shall be appointed for <br />three (3) year terms. In addition to the members appointed above, the City Council may <br />for one-year terms appoint additional residents of the city under twenty-one (21) years of <br />age to serve as (ex officio) members of the Parks and Recreation Commission. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. Section 204.04 the Roseville City Code regarding the composition <br />of the City Human Rights Commission is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />204.04: MEMBERSHIP; TERMS AND REMOVAL: <br />A. Membership: The Commission shall consist often (10) members, to be appointed <br />by the City Council. Members of the Commission shall be appointed with due regard to <br />their fitness for the efficient dispatch of the functions, powers and duties vested in and <br />imposed upon the Commission. In addition to the members appointed above, the City <br />Council may for one-year terms appoint additional residents of the city under twenty-one <br />(21) years of age to serve as (ex officio) members of the Human Rights Commission. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect immediately <br />following its passage and publication. <br /> <br />2001. <br /> <br />PASSED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, this 26th day of June, <br />
