<br />ORDINANCE NO. 1264 <br /> <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 1, CHAPTER 103 OF THE <br />ROSEVILLE CITY CODE <br />CONCERNING CITY ELECTIONS <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE ORDAINS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Section 103.01A. of the Roseville City Code is amended to read: <br /> <br />A. Election Date Fixed: The city general election shall be held on the first <br />Tuesday after the first Monday in November of each eVen numbered year, <br />beginning with the 2006 election. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. Section 103.02 of the Roseville City Code is amended to read: <br /> <br />103.02: MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL TERMS: <br /> <br />A. Terms: The tenn of office for mayor and council members shall be four (4) years. <br /> <br />B. Transition Provisions: The tenns of the Mayor and Councilmember who will be elected at <br />the 2003 City election shall end the first business day df January, 2007 and those offices will <br />be filled at the 2006 City election. The tenn of the· Councilmember elected at the 2005 <br />election with the most votes shall end on the first bUsiness day of January, 2011 and that <br />office shall be filled at the 2010 City election, and tne terms of the two Councilmembers <br />elected at the 2005 election with the second and third most votes shall end the first business <br />day of January, 2009 and those offices will be filled at the 2008 City election. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 3rd day of June, 2002, by the City Council of the City of Roseville. <br /> <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br />~. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />.~ <br />
