Mr. Culver <br />768 spoke in support of a more intentional and planned discussion on park recycling; <br />769 and advised he would need to talk to the Parks & Recreation department before <br />770 committing to a potential public discussion with the PWETC in September. <br />771 <br />772 Corpus Christi Rain Garden Project Update Fairview Avenue) <br />773 Member Seigler suggested a field trip to view how things are working. <br />774 <br />775 SE Roseville Planning/Community Discussions <br />776 Member Lenz advised that she intended to attend this joint discussion between the <br />777 cities of Roseville, St. Paul and Maplewood, as first opportunity for public <br />778 engagement; and offered to provide a report at the next PWETC meeting. <br />779 <br />780 Ramsey/Washington County Resource Recovery Project <br />781 Mr. Culver asked Member Wozniak if the project was operating yet, with <br />782 Member Wozniak responding that ' as not. <br />783 <br />784 I-35W Managed Lane Project IAL <br />785 Mr. Culver reported on last night's presentation and public Nhearinart of the <br />786 municipal consent process for this project. Mr. Culver adviesidents <br />787 had attended, but noted there would be other opportunities for public comment <br />788 through the process. Mr. Culver advised that the City Council wasn't expected to <br />789 vote on the Roseville area portion of the project until October of 2016. As part of <br />790 that project, Mr. Culver advised that noise walls were under discussion, and <br />791 reviewed the voting process for benefitting property owners in determining if <br />792 MnDOT installed the walls or not. Mr. Culver identified the commercial area <br />793 between the I-35W on ramp and Cleveland Avenue north between County Roads <br />794 C aW D as the noise wall area. Since the city has a pathway in that area, Mr. <br />795 Culver reported that the city would get one vote as well. <br />796 IW _qW <br />797 OMr. Culver suggested having discussion on the project, and any others staff is <br />798 aware of in the area at that point, for the August PWETC meeting. <br />799 <br />800 Community and Economic Development Updates <br />801 Member Seigler noted two new hotels and other things going up in the Twin <br />802 Lakes area as well as new housing throughout the community. Member Seigler <br />803 suggested it would be of interest to the PWETC to have an idea of those <br />804 development and redevelopment projects. <br />805 <br />806 Mr. Culver apologized for not having included the most recent report in the <br />807 PWETC communication items tonight. Mr. Culver reported that the City Council <br />808 receives a monthly development update, which is also posted on the city's <br />809 website, but he would make available going forward as part of the PWETC <br />810 communication items.
