� EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL bF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />X * � � � � � � � � � � � � * � � <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 22nd day of August, <br />2016, at 6:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, McGehee and Roe and <br />the following members were absent:none. <br />Member Willmus introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION No. 11352 <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY REPORT <br />FOR WHEELER STREET CLOSURE PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, Wheeler Street is a public road located between Lydia Avenue and County <br />• Road D; and <br />WHEREAS, The neighborhood had petition the City of Roseville to permanently close <br />Wheeler Street at County Road D; and <br />WHEREAS, The City of Roseville conducted a neighborhood survey pursuant to the Traffic <br />Management Program and the results support closing Wheeler Street; and <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to close Wheeler Street approximately 50 feet south of County <br />Road D to vehicular traffic, and to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the <br />cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.011 to 429.111: <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota as follows: <br />1. The proposed improvements are referred to the City Engineer for study and he is <br />instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed, advising the Council in a <br />preliminary way as to whether they should best be made as proposed or in connection <br />with some other improvements, and the estimated cost of the improvements as <br />recommended. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Etten <br />� and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Willmus, Laliberte, <br />Etten, McGehee and Roe and the following voted against the same: none. <br />
