EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />* � � * * � � * � � � � � � � � � <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 22nd day of August, <br />2016, at 6:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, McGehee and Roe; and <br />the following members were absent: none. <br />Member Willmus introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION No. 11350 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING QUIT CLAIM DEED TO HAGEN <br />VENTURES, LLC TO CURE TITLE DEFECT <br />WHEREAS, Hagen Ventures, LLC ("Hagen") has requested a quit claim deed from the <br />City to resolve a title issue concerning the property located at 2785 Fairview Avenue <br />North, legally described as Tract C, Registered Land Survey No. 607, Ramsey County, <br />Minnesota ("Hagen Property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the title issue apparently arose before July 2010 when the City closed on the <br />purchase from Hagen of Tracts A and B of Registered Land Survey No. 607; and <br />WHEREAS, Hagen is attempting to sell its property but a title report indicates that the <br />City also has an interest in part of the Hagen Property; and <br />WHEREAS, Hagen has requested, and the City has agreed to grant, a quit claim deed <br />conveying any interest the City may have in the Hagen Property to Hagen, but reserving <br />all easements favoring the City and/or the public. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Roseville <br />approves the conveyance of the Hagen Property to Hagen and its successors and assigns, and <br />directs the Mayor and City Manager to execute the Quit Claim Deed in substantially the same <br />form as the attached, on behalf of the City of Roseville. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member <br />Etten and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Willmus, <br />Laliberte, Etten, McGehee and Roe and the following voted against the same: none. <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
