EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE x � � � � � x X x X � � � x � x � Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on 12t" day of September, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: Laliberte, McGehee, Willmus, Etten and Roe and the following members were absent: none. Member Willmus introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. ll354 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR SOUTH LAKE OWASSO DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution Number 11346 adopted by the Roseville City Council on Angust 8, 2016, the City Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for City Project No. SW-14-21, South Lake Owasso Drainage Improvements Project; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: Such plans and specifications, copies of which are attached hereto, and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Manager shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the Roseville Review, the official newspaper, and on the City's website and on an industry website, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement for bids for City Project SW-14-21 South Lake Owasso Drainage Improvements Project, shall be published as required by law, shall specify the work to be done, shall call the bids on the basis of cash payment for such work, shall state the date and time that the bids will be received by the City Engineer at which time they will be publicly opened and subsequently be considered by the Council; and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check or bid bond payable to the City of Roseville for ten percent of the amount of such bid. The motion was duly seconded by Member Etten and upon vote being taken ihereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Laliberte, McGehee, Willmus, Etten and Roe and the following voted against: none. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
