Ms. McConnick sou�ht confirmation <br />that would be taken into account. <br />Ms. McCortnick eYpressed appreciation for Member McGehee's comments on <br />income levels and tying job levels to incoine to encourage quality businesses in <br />the area. �Vith the median income in Roseville at $60,000, Ms. McConnick <br />stated her appreciation for keepinb the ininimum threshold at 3 times � <br />k€�the State minimum wa�e. <br />Specific to small businesses, and whether the REDA wanted to support theln, <br />Ms. McCormick asked that the REDA consider standards to gauge the quality <br />of those small businesses froir� a cominunity meinber standpoint and whether <br />or not the business was willing to be a good corporate ^��b'�'�^r',^^a neighbor <br />to their residential neighbors. When reviewin� increased green space and <br />parking, Ms. McConnick asked that the policy also include increased <br />screening an buffering between adjacent coinrnercial and residential properties. <br />President Roe thanked Ms. Kvilvang and Mr. Aarsvold for their insight with <br />this discussion. <br />c. Adopt 2017 REDA Budget <br />Interim Community Development Directar Kari Collins summarized the <br />options for staffing and programming related to the 2017 budget for the REDA <br />and broader Community Development Department. Ms. Collins reviewed the <br />2017 Preliminary Budget provided as a bench handout (Attachinent A), and <br />monthly and annual levy impacts for each of those options. An additional <br />bench handout property taxes and impacts as well as monthly impacts to <br />properties for each option. <br />President Roe noted the maximum allowable REDA levy per State Statute <br />based on city market value for 2017 would be $787,000. <br />
