EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />� � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on 19t1i day of September, 2016, at 6:00 <br />p.m. <br />The following members were present: Willmus, Laliberte, McGehee; and Roe and the following <br />members were absent: Etten. <br />Member Willmus introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. ll362 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE <br />EARNEST MONEY CONTRACTS FOR EASEMENT ACQUISITIONS AT 2805 <br />FAIRVIEW AVE AND 2770 FAIRVIEW AVE <br />WHEREAS, the construction of Twin Lakes Parkway is present in the Comprehensive Plan for the City <br />of Roseville; and <br />WHEREAS, in order to construct City Project 15-14, Twin Lakes Parkway Phase 3, it is necessary to <br />construct right turn lanes at the modified intersection of Fairview Avenue and Terrace Drive/Twin Lakes <br />Parkway; and <br />WHEREAS, the construction of said right turn lanes requires the acquisition of permanent and <br />temporary easements from the property owners at 2805 Fairview Avenue and 2770 Fairview Avenue. <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Mi�mesota: <br />1. The proposed acquisitions are in compliance with the City of Roseville Comprehensive Plan. <br />2. The acquisition of the proposed temporary and permanent easements at 2805 Fairview Avenue <br />and 2770 Fairview Avenue are approved and the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to <br />execute the Earnest Money Contracts for the permanent and temparary easements on said <br />properties. <br />The motion was duly seconded by Member Laliberte and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereo£ Willmus, Laliberte, McGehee; and Roe and the following voted against: none. <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
