Attachment E <br /> wo <br /> City of Woodbury Pilot Program for Residential Irrigation Retrofitting <br /> The City of Woodbury is conducting a pilot program with the Minnesota Technical Assistance <br /> Program(MnTAP)to implement and validate the effectiveness of smart controller irrigation <br /> technology in single-family homes.The city is very supportive of irrigation water efficiency as <br /> part of its long-term water conservation goals. <br /> The city has purchased 5o Rachio IRO 8-zone (2nd generation)controllers to be given to single- <br /> family homeowners(who are residents of Woodbury)with traditional clock-based controllers. <br /> These controllers are provided at no equipment cost to residents to improve the efficiency of <br /> their home irrigation systems. These controllers will be distributed on a first-come,first-serve <br /> basis and at the discretion of the city. <br /> The City will not be responsible for installing the controllers. Installation is to be handled by the <br /> homeowner or a 3rd party contractor at the discretion of the recipient but within 30 <br /> days of receipt of the controller from the City of Woodbury. The estimated time it <br /> takes to install the controller is 30 minutes.An intern from the University of Minnesota will <br /> distribute the controllers and work with the homeowner on the upgrade performance upon <br /> request. <br /> To be considered for participation in the program,please review the following information,fill <br /> out the application below and submit the application to the city via email to <br /> nathan.landwehr(&woodbuO mn.gov.You also may mail or drop off the application at <br /> Woodbury City Hall,Attn.
