EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE � � �: � � x � x � � � � � � � � � Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 26th day of September, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: McGehee, Laliberte, Etten and Roe and the following members were absent: Willmus. Councilmember McGehee introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION No. 11365 APPROVAL OF GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN METROPOLITAN COUNCIL AND THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE FOR GRANT ELIGIBLE WORK BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: WHEREAS, the Minnesota State Legislature has appropriated $4,156,800 in general obligation bond funds for grants to municipalities to reduce inflow and infiltration in their public system infrastructure, administered by Metropolitan Council Environmental Services (MCES); and WHEREAS, application to participate in the MCES 2014 Municipal Grant Program was made on September 26, 2014 for reimbursement of the construction costs of various sanitary sewer system projects; and WHEREAS, the City of Roseville desires to enter into a Grant agreement to finalize the reimbursement process. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, the Grant Agreement, a draft of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, for the MCES 2014 Municipal Inflow and Infiltration grant is approved; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Public Works Director is hereby authorized to execute the Grant Agreement, in a form substantially similar to Exhibit A and subject to modifications approved by the City Attorney.
