EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />� � �: � � x � x � � � � � � � � � <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 26th day of September, <br />2016, at 6:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: McGehee, Laliberte, Etten and Roe and the <br />following members were absent: Willmus. <br />Councilmember McGehee introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION No. 11365 <br />APPROVAL OF GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN METROPOLITAN <br />COUNCIL AND THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE FOR GRANT ELIGIBLE WORK <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota State Legislature has appropriated $4,156,800 in general <br />obligation bond funds for grants to municipalities to reduce inflow and infiltration in their <br />public system infrastructure, administered by Metropolitan Council Environmental <br />Services (MCES); and <br />WHEREAS, application to participate in the MCES 2014 Municipal Grant Program was <br />made on September 26, 2014 for reimbursement of the construction costs of various <br />sanitary sewer system projects; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville desires to enter into a Grant agreement to finalize the <br />reimbursement process. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, the Grant Agreement, a draft of which is attached hereto as <br />Exhibit A, for the MCES 2014 Municipal Inflow and Infiltration grant is approved; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Public Works Director is hereby authorized to <br />execute the Grant Agreement, in a form substantially similar to Exhibit A and subject to <br />modifications approved by the City Attorney. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Etten and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />
