EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 22nd day of January, 1990, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Johnson, Thomas, Cushman, Maschka, and Rog, and the following were absent: None. Member Cushman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8533 ROSEVILLE LOCAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION/COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the City of Roseville seeks to encourage a multiplicity of housing types; and WHEREAS, the city of Roseville encourages housing development for a variety of income ranges; and WHEREAS, the City of Roseville is interested in encouraging single family homes for moderate income families; and WHEREAS, the Roseville Local Development Corporation is proposing a Community Development Block Grant to provide six moderate priced homes in the Old Highway 8/C-2 area; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Roseville endorses and supports the Local Development Corporation request. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the city of Roseville respectfully requests the funding of said project. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Maschka , and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Johnson, Thomas, Cushman, Maschka, and Rog, and the following voted against the same: None. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
