<br /> <br />Regular City Council Meeting Minutes <br />City Hall Council Chambers, 2660 Civic Center Drive <br />Monday, October 24, 2016 <br />1. Roll Call <br />Mayor Roe called the meeting to order at approximately 6:00 p.m. Voting and Seating <br />Order: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, McGehee and Roe. City Manager Patrick Trudgeon <br />and City Attorney Mark Gaughan were also present. <br /> <br />Mayor Roe noted Councilmember Laliberte had advised earlier tonight that she was una- <br />ble to attend tonight’s meeting due to illness. <br /> <br />2. Pledge of Allegiance <br /> <br />3. Approve Agenda <br />Councilmember McGehee requested removal of Items 8.f and g from the Consent Agen- <br />da for separate consideration. <br /> <br />Etten moved, McGehee seconded, approval of the agenda as amended. <br /> <br /> Roll Call <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Willmus, Etten, McGehee and Roe. <br />Nays: <br />None. <br /> <br />4. Public Comment <br /> <br />Mayor Roe called for public comment by members of the audience on any non-agenda <br />items. <br /> <br /> <br />a.Sherry Sanders, S. McCarrons Boulevard <br />Speaking on behalf of the “Do Good Roseville” organization, Ms. Sanders <br />thanked the city and Parks & Recreation department for use of the Lexington Park <br />building for recent “Neighbor to Neighbor” conversations related to racism. Ms. <br />Sanders reported a great attendance and another good opportunity for sharing ex- <br />periences, subsequent to the recent city-sponsored event on the same topic. <br /> <br /> <br />b.Kathy Ramundt, Laurie Road <br />Speaking on behalf of the “Do Good Roseville” organization, Ms. Ramundt pro- <br />vided a flyer as a bench handout for city staff to promote an additional 3-part vid- <br />eo series and community discussion during the month of November 2016 entitled, <br />“Race, the Power of an Illusion.” Ms. Ramundt provided logistics and locations <br />for the series hosted by three different Roseville churches. For those interested <br />but unable to attend, Ms. Ramundt advised that the videos were also available free <br />online as well and linked on the DoGoodRoseville.com website and would be <br />linked on the city’s website. <br /> <br /> <br />
