EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 28t�' day of November, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: McGehee, Willmus, Laliberte, Etten and Roe; and the following were absent: none. Member Willmus introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION No. 11377 RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS FOR 2017 SANITARY SEWER MAIN LINING WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on Thursday, November 17, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: CONTRACTOR BID TOTAL A(Base BID TOTAL B Bid) (Base Bid + Alternate 1+Alternate 2) Insituform Technologies USA, LLC $727,386.20 $759,641.00 Veit & Company, Inc. $779,784.00 $797,616.00 SAK Construction, LLC $788,721.50 $817,494.50 Michels Corporation $833,420.00 $858,986.00 Lametti and Sons, Inc. $848,677.00 $871,270.00 Visu-sewer, Inc $935,301.00 $990,356.00 Engineers Estimate $748,360.00 $768,910.00 WHEREAS, it appears that Insituform Technologies USA, LLC, of Chesterfield, Missouri is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of $759,641.00 and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: 1. The Mayar and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Insituform Technologies USA, LLC for $759,641.00 in the name of the City of Roseville for the above improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Manager.
