EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 28th day of November, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: McGehee, Willmus, Laliberte, Etten and Roe and the following were absent: none. Member Willmus introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION No. 11376 RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS FOR SOUTH LAKE OWASSO DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: CONTRACTOR BID TOTAL Ramse Excavatin , Inc. $346,324.00 Veit & Com an , Inc. $357,200.�10 Me er Contractin , Inc. $364,23430 New Look Contracting, Inc. $384,105.50 Urban Companies $384,307.50 Park Construction Co. $417,100.41 Northdale Construction Co. $419,363.34 Engineers Estimate $310,263.00 WHEREAS, it appears that Ramsey Excavating, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of $346,324.00 and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: 1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Ramsey Excavating, Inc. for $346,324.00 in the name of the City of Roseville for the above improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Manager. 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders
