Approve Business and Other Licenses <br />Etten moved, Willmus seconded, approval of various licenses as detailed, de- <br />pendent on completion of successful back�ound checks for massage licenses. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Willmus, Etten, McGehee, Laliberte and Roe. <br />Nays: None. <br />c. Approve General Purchases in Excess of $5,000 and Sale of Surplus Items <br />Councilmember McGehee reminded staff thai past City Council directive was that <br />diversity be used when replanting diseased trees (e.g. Emerald Ash Borer). <br />Councilmember McGehee reported that she had provided information to City <br />Manager Trudgeon to forward on to the Parks & Recreation Commission regard- <br />ing Burdock and hazards to migratory birds. <br />Etten moved, Willmus seconded, approval of general purchases and contracts for <br />services as noted in the RCA, and Attachment A cntitled, "2016 Summary of <br />Scheduled CIP Items," updated October 31, 2016. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Willmus, Etten, McGehee, Laliberte and Roe. <br />Nays: None. <br />d. Consider Not Waiving Statutory Liability Limits for 2017 <br />Etten moved, Willmus seconded, a motion to NOT waive the Statutory Liability <br />Limits for 2017. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Willmus, Etten, McGehee, Laliberte and Roe. <br />Nays: None. <br />e. Confirm Citizen Advisory Commission Reappointment/Appointment Sched- <br />ule <br />Councilmember McGehee asked that staff seek feedback from those commission- <br />ers not choosing to continue serving; duly noted by City Manager Trudgeon. <br />
