<br />LOT LINE, SIDE: Any boundary of a lot which is not a front or a rear lot line. <br /> <br />LOT, THROUGH: A lot which has a pair of opposite lot lines along two (2) substantially <br />parallel streets and which is not a comer lot. On a through lot, both street lines shall be deemed <br />front lot lines. <br /> <br />LOT WIDTH: The mean horizontal distance between the side lot lines of a lot measured within <br />the lot boundaries at the required front yard setback. (Ord. 275, 5-12-59; amd. 1995 Code) <br /> <br />LOW IMPACT PUBLIC OR QUASI-PUBLIC USE: Activities which are sponsored by a <br />public or quasi-public organization which have minor impact in terms of traffic generation, hours <br />of operation, activities conducted or light and noise generated on the surrounding properties. <br />Low impact public or quasi-public uses include activities employing no more then ten (10) <br />employees on site for anyone activity, requiring not more than fifteen (15) parking spaces for <br />anyone activity exclusive of public assembly and not involving retailing, wholesaling or <br />warehousing of materials other than normal office supplies. For the purposes of this Title, a <br />public use is any area, building or structure held, used or controlled exclusively for public <br />purposes by any department or branch of any government. A quasi-public use is any use which is <br />essentially public as in its services rendered although under private control or ownership. (Ord. <br />874, 1-2-81) <br /> <br />MAIL ORDER SALES AND LIMITED PRODUCTION: Receiving of mail orders from <br />consumers, processing of such orders including the manufacture, assembly, storage and shipping <br />of such products from the site direct to consumers only <br /> <br />MANUFACTURED HOME: A type of structure that is transportable in one or more sections, <br />which in the traveling mode, is eight body feet or more in width or 24 40 body feet or more in <br />length, or, when erected on site, is 320 or more square feet. (The measure is exclusive of travel <br />hitches and other carrying devices.) This structure is built on a permanent chassis and designed <br />to be used as a dwelling with or without a permanent foundation when connected to the required <br />utilities, and includes the plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and electrical systems contained <br />therein; except that the term includes any structure which meets all the requirements and with <br />respect to which the manufacturer voluntarily files a certification required by the Secretary of <br />HUD (1976) and complies with the standards established under this chapter. <br /> <br />MINI-STORAGE (SELF-STORAGE) FACILITIES: A building or group of buildings having <br />the following characteristics: control access and secured areas which contain varying sizes of <br />individually compartmentalized and controlled access stalls or lockers for the dead storage of the <br />customer's goods or possessions. Access to all storage units shall be oriented into interior <br />courtyards fully enclosed by buildings or walls, except for ingress and egress openings. Exterior <br />finish shall be face brick or equal.
