Land Disturbance <br />(RWMWD Rule Definition) <br />Land Disturbance. Any activity on property that results in a change or alteration in the <br />existing ground cover (both vegetative and non -vegetative) and/or the existing soil <br />topography. Land disturbing activities include, but are not limited to, development, <br />redevelopment, demolition, construction, reconstruction, clearing, grading, filling, <br />stockpiling, excavation and borrow pits. Routine vegetation management and road <br />milling/overlay activities that do not alter the soil material beneath the road base shall not <br />be considered land disturbance. In addition, in-kind catch basin and pipe <br />repair/replacement done in conjunction with a mill/overlay project shall not be <br />considered land disturbance. <br />
