Regular City Council Meeting <br />Monday, March 13, 2017 <br />Page 11 <br />City Planner Paschke reviewed highlighted revisions as noted in Attaclunent B <br />and as detailed in the RCA. City Manager Trudgeon noted revisions for pet store <br />requirements highlighted on page 7. <br />Mayor Roe offered an opportunity for public comment at this time, with no one <br />appearing for or against. <br />McGehee moved, Etten seconded, enactment of Ordinance No. 1517 (Attaclunent <br />A) entitled, "An Ordinance Amending Chapter 314.05, Fee Schedule, Adopting a <br />Revised 2017 Fee Schedule;" as presented (Attachment B). <br />At the request of Councilmember Laliberte, Councilmeinber Etten clarified that <br />the pet store violation fees were rolling over twelve months for each violation <br />and not reset for each calendar year; but further clarified that the violations could <br />be revised by formal City Council action at any point in the future if so indicated. <br />Councilmember Willmus spoke in support of increasing the violation fees from <br />those recommending by shifting each up by an additional $500 for each violation <br />tier. <br />Motion to Amend <br />Willmus moved, Laliberte seconded, amendment to the motion as follows: <br />City of Roseville 2017 Fee Schedule (pa�e 7) <br />■ Ist violation = $1,000 <br />■ 2"� violation = $1,500 <br />■ 3Y`� violation = $3, D00 <br />Councilmember McGehee opined that the proposed fees were sufficiently high <br />without amendment. <br />Noting that some pets are quite expensive, Councilmember Etten spoke in support <br />of the amended fine increases, opining it would make a big difference. <br />Mayor Roe spoke in support of the motion. <br />Roll Call (Amendment) <br />Ayes: Willmus, Etten, McGehee, Laliberte, and Roe. <br />Nays: None. <br />Roll Call (Original Motion as Amended) <br />Ayes: Willmus, Etten, McGehee, Laliberte, and Roe. <br />Nays: None. <br />McGehee moved, Willmus seconded, enactment of Ordinance Summary No. 1517 <br />(Attachment C) entitled, "An Ordinance Summary Amending Chapter 314.05, <br />Fee Schedule, Adopting a Revised 2017 Fee Schedule." <br />
