February 15,2017 <br />Item 6.A <br />Rose Parade Participation <br />Background <br />The City of Roseville hosts the annual Rose Parade on the fourth Monday of June. This year the <br />parade will be on <br />Monday, June 26, 2017, beginning at 6:15 pm, at the Roseville Area High School. <br />The Human Rights Commission has taken part in the parade for many years. If the commission <br />is interested in participating in 2017, it is asked toreview options for participating,including <br />which commissionerswill participatein the parade,whether to have a float, whether to invite <br />other groups (Karen community, essay contest winners, RAHS human rights group etc.)to <br />participate, etc. <br />In 2016 the commissionspent $100 for candy to be distributed at the parade. <br />Attachment <br /> <br />Parade Information <br /> <br />
