Regular City Council Meeting <br />Monday, March 20, 2017 <br />Page 31 <br />For clarity, and without objection, staff was directed to ask for a quote from the <br />architect for the cost of their services to develop plans and specifications, <br />Mr. Brokke suggested several members of the City Council to assist with further <br />discussion on orientation and other details. <br />Councilmembers Laliberte, Willmus and McGehee all volunteered to serve in that <br />capacity. However, Mayor Roe, recognizing that all council members would have <br />additional feedback, suggested those questions be brought to the City Council as a <br />whole. <br />8. Council & City Manager Communications, Reports, and Announcements <br />Councilmember Laliberte announced an upcoming Community Health Awareness Team <br />(CHAT) event entitled, "Managing Your Medications," encouraging residents to attend. <br />11. Councilmember Initiated Future Agenda Items and Future Agenda Review <br />CLOSED SESSION <br />Mayor Roe announced that, in accordance with Minnesota State Statutes Chapter 13.D.03 and <br />exceptions to Open Meeting Laws, he would entertain a motion to move into Closed Executive <br />Session for the purpose of discussing development of a potential offer for acquisition of property <br />located at 2719 Lexington Avenue. <br />Willmus moved, Laliberte seconded, recessing the City Council meeting at approximately 10:16 <br />p.m. and convening in Closed Executive Session, per State Statute. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: McGehee, Willmus, Laliberte and Roe. <br />Nays: None. <br />Mayor Roe convened the City Council in Closed Executive Session at approximately 10:19 p.m. <br />In addition to the Councilmembers, City Manager Trudgeon, City Attorney Gaughan and Fi- <br />nance Director Chris Miller were also present. <br />Councilmember McGehee left at 10:35 p.m. <br />RECONVENE OPEN SESSION <br />At approximately 10:41 p.m., Laliberte moved, Roe seconded, adjourning the Closed Executive <br />Session and reconvening in Open Session. <br />
