EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 10th day of April, 2017, at <br /> 6:00 p.m. <br /> The following members were present: McGehee, Willmus, Laliberte, Etten; and Roe and the <br /> following were absentmone. <br /> Member Etten introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 11407 <br /> RESOLUTION REJECTING BIDS <br /> FOR 2017 UTILITY PROJECTS <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans <br /> and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were <br /> received on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to the <br /> law; and <br /> WHEREAS, review of the bid responses revealed a material inconsistency between bid <br /> instructions contained in the City's bid specifications and those contained in the electronic bid <br /> program used known as BidVault; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the inconsistency in instructions potentially resulted in the City receiving <br /> incomplete responses from all interested bidders through no fault of the bidders. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> 1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to reject all bids for <br /> the project for the above improvements according to the plans and specifications and <br /> rebid the project. <br /> 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders <br /> the deposits made with their bids. <br /> 3. The Public Works Department is hereby directed to resolve any potential <br /> inconsistencies in bid instructions prior to the rebidding of said project. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br /> Minnesota: <br />
