On behalf of the community, City Coun- <br /> cil, and staff, Mayor Roe thanked these commissioners for their service; and <br /> thanked all who applied for vacancies to serve on these various commissions. <br /> b. Police Officer's Memorial Day/National Police Week <br /> Mayor Roe read a proclamation recognizing May 15, 2017 as Police Officers' <br /> Memorial Day and May 15 — 21, 2017 as National Police Week, honoring and <br /> commemorating law enforcement services and their faithful and loyal devotion to <br /> their responsibilities rendering dedicated service to their communities. <br /> Etten moved, Laliberte seconded, proclaiming May 15, 2017 as Police Officers' <br /> Memorial Day and May 15 —21, 2017 as National Police Week in Roseville, MN. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Laliberte, McGehee, Willmus, Etten and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> C. Asian-American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month <br /> Mayor Roe read a proclamation declaring May 2017 as Asian-American and Pa- <br /> cific Islander Heritage Month; celebrating the contributions and heritage made by <br /> these peoples to the American story. <br /> Willmus moved, Etten seconded, proclaiming May 2017 as Asian-American and <br /> Pacific Islander Heritage Month and celebrating the contributions and heritage <br /> made by these peoples to the American story. <br />
