<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE No. 1301 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 10, SECTION 1014, SUBSECTION 1014.04, <br />SECTION 1013, SUBSECTION 1013.02B AND 1013.03 PERTAINING TO THE BOARD <br />OF ADJUSTMENT AND APPEALS <br /> <br />The following is the official summary of Ordinance No. 1301 approved by the City Council of <br />Roseville on February 9,2004: <br /> <br />This ordinance creates a "Variance Board" to act as the Board of Zoning Variances <br />Adjustments and Appeals, composed of three members of the Planning Commission. This <br />Variance Board, using the city's standard notification and hearing process, will hear all land <br />use variances and appeals ftom setback permits. A mailed notice at least 10 days in advance <br />of the hearing is required to all property owners within 350 feet of the variance site. Ten <br />days published notice is also required and a sign must be posted on the property to notify <br />nearby residents. After the Variance Board makes a decision, the community development <br />director must mail a copy of the fmal decision to property owners within 350 feet of the <br />variance site. Appeals of the Variance Board decision must be filed within 10 days of the <br />decision with the city manager to be heard by the City Council. The ordinance takes effect <br />after this publication on April 1 , 2004. <br /> <br />A printed copy of the ordinance is available for inspection by any person during regular office <br />hours in the office of the City Manager at the Roseville City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive, <br />Roseville, Minnesota 55113.
