Defined Benefit Pension Plan – Volunteer Fire Fighter's Relief Association <br /> <br /> A. Plan Description <br /> The Roseville Firefighter Relief Association is the administrator of a single employer <br /> defined benefit pension plan established to provide benefits for members of the City of <br /> Roseville Fire Department per Minnesota State Statutes. <br /> The Association issues a publicly available financial report that includes financial statements <br /> and required supplementary information. That report may be obtained by writing to the <br /> Roseville Firefighters’ Relief Association, 2701 N. Lexington Ave., Roseville, MN 55113. <br /> <br /> B. Benefits Provided <br /> Volunteer firefighters of the City are members of the Roseville Firefighter Relief <br /> Association. Full retirement benefits are payable to members who have reached age 50 and <br /> h a v e c o m p l e t e d 1 5 y e a r s o f s e r v i c e f o r m o n t h l y s e r v i c e p e n sion, or 10 years of service for <br /> l u m p s u m s e r v i c e p e n s i o n . P a r t i a l b e n e f i t s a r e p a y a b l e t o members who have reached 50 and <br /> h a v e c o m p l e t e d 1 0 y e a r s o f service. Disability benefits, widow, and children’s survivor <br /> b e n e f i t s a r e a l s o p a y a b l e t o m e m b e r s o r t h e i r b e n e f i c i a r i e s based upon requirements set <br /> forth in the bylaws. These benefit provisions and all other requirements are consistent <br /> w i t h e n a b l i n g s t a t e statutes. <br /> <br /> C.
