Roseville Public Works, Environment and Transportation Commission Meeting Minutes Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at 6:30 p.m. City Council Chambers, 2660 Civic Center Drive Roseville, Minnesota 55113 1 1. Introduction / Roll Call 2 Chair Cihacek called the meeting to order at approximately 6:30 p.m. and at his 3 request, Public Works Director Marc Culver called the roll. 4 5 Present: Chair Brian Cihacek; Vice Chair Joe Wozniak; and Members 6 Thomas Trainor, John Heimerl, Duane Seigler, and Kody Thurnau; 7 with Member Misra arriving at approximately 6:32 p.m. 8 9 Staff Present: Public Works Director Marc Culver and Assistant Public 10 Works Director Jesse Freihammer 11 12 Chair Cihacek noted the tour had been cancelled and will be addressed in the next 13 couple of months. There will also be a joint meeting between this Commission and 14 the City Council on July 10 and he encouraged the Commissioners to attend. 15 16 Member Misra arrived at this time, approximately 6:32 p.m. 17 18 2. Public Comments 19 Sara Barsell, 1276 Eldridge Avenue W 20 Ms. Barsell stated she is the cofounder of the Community Health Awareness Team, 21 and is interested in transportation availability on demand and out -State service. 22 They will be conducting forums on transportation and invited Commissioners to 23 attend. She stated the Director of Mn/DOT is a member of her team, and they have 24 invited people from the Metropolitan Council. 25 26 Chair Cihacek thanked her for the information and requested she provide feedback 27 from the forums at a future PWETC meeting. Member Wozniak advised they are 28 scheduled to discuss transportation at the next three Commission meetings. 29 30 Public Works Director Culver invited Ms. Barsell and members of her team to 31 attend the Transportation Focus Group meeting scheduled for Thursday, July 20. 32 33 3.
