Items for Next Meeting — August 22, 2017 <br />452 Discussion ensued regarding the August PW ETC agenda and time required for each <br />453 item: <br />454 • PWETC/City Council Joint Meeting Review with an estimated time of 10 <br />455 minutes. <br />456 • PWETC/Planning Commission Joint Meeting with an estimated time <br />457 requirement of 30 minutes. <br />458 • Transportation Pathway Master Plan continued discussion and review with an <br />459 estimated time of 90 minutes. <br />460 <br />461 Mr. Freihammer commented the Planning Commission would like to meet with the <br />462 PWETC to discuss the Comprehensive Plan and Transportation Master Plan. <br />463 <br />464 Chair Cihacek suggested they consider forming a joint subcommittee with the <br />465 Planning Commission and Parks and Recreation to discuss some of the items <br />466 brought up at this meeting. <br />467 <br />468 Member Wozniak inquired if they could discuss sustainability, energy, and water <br />469 quality with the Planning Commission. <br />470 <br />471 Mr. Culver responded it could be one of the three topics they discuss at the joint <br />472 meeting. The Metropolitan Council requires a resilience section in the <br />473 Comprehensive Plan and they should discuss what that should be. <br />474 <br />475 Chair Cihacek encouraged Members to email Mr. Culver if they would like any <br />476 additional information included in the August meeting packet. <br />477 <br />478 Mr. Culver commented they would like to offer a walking tour of Twin Lakes <br />479 Parkway and Langton Lake to the Commission on either August 15 or August 29. <br />480 They could also drive up to the South Lake Owasso project. <br />481 <br />482 The Commission agreed to a walking tour on August 15 at 6:30 p.m. <br />483 <br />484 8. Adjourn <br />485 <br />486 Motion <br />487 Member Thurnau moved, Member Heimerl seconded, adjournment of the <br />488 meeting at approximately 8:34 p.m. <br />489 <br />490 Ayes:7 <br />491 Nays:0 <br />492 Motion carried. <br />Page 11 of 11 <br />
