EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, August 28th, <br /> 2017, at 6:00 o'clock p.m. <br /> The following members were present: McGehee, Laliberte, Etten and Roe and the <br /> following were absent: Willmus <br /> Councilmember Etten introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 11437 <br /> RESOLUTION DECLARING COSTS AND RECEIVING PROPOSED SPECIAL <br /> ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE SOUTH LAKE OWASSO DRAINAGE <br /> IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AND PROVIDING FOR HEARINGS <br /> WHEREAS, on August 8, 2016, the City Council of the City of Roseville held a public <br /> hearing for the purposes of accepting public comment on the proposed Improvement the <br /> South Lake Owasso Drainage Improvement Project and at the same meeting adopted <br /> Resolution 11346 Ordering the Improvement and Preparation of Plans and Specifications <br /> for South Lake Owasso Drainage Improvement Project.; and <br /> WHEREAS, contracts have been let and costs have been determined for the South Lake <br /> Owasso Drainage Improvement Project. <br /> WHEREAS, the total construction cost of said project was $350,103.95, of which the <br /> City of Roseville's cost is equal to $176,770.95; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager, with the assistance of the City Engineer, has calculated <br /> the proper amount to be specifically assessed for such improvement against every <br /> assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to case <br /> valuation, as provided by law, and has filed a copy of such proposed assessment in his <br /> office for public inspection. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> 1. The portion of the cost of such improvements to be paid by the City is hereby <br /> declared to be $176,770.95 and the portion of the cost to be assessed against <br /> benefited property owners is declared to be $73,333.00. <br /> 2. A hearing shall be held on the 9th day of October, 2017 in the city hall at 6:00 <br /> p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all <br />
