EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 25th day of September, 2017, <br /> at 6:00 p.m. <br /> The following members were present: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, McGehee and Roe and the <br /> following were absent: none. <br /> Member McGehee introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION No. 11451 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MNDOT COMMUNITY ROADSIDE LANDSCAPE <br /> PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM APPLICATION <br /> WHEREAS, The Minnesota Department of Transportation's Community Roadside <br /> Landscaping Partnership Program is designed to provide technical and financial assistance to <br /> communities that are interested in landscaping state highway rights of way; and <br /> WHEREAS, The Home Owner's Association at 2200 Midland Grove Road has approached <br /> the City with an interest in participating in the program. Their goal is to provide new <br /> vegetation to beautify the area as well as screen the condo building that is located on the east <br /> side of Cleveland; and <br /> WHEREAS, The program requires the applicant to form and designate a committee of at least <br /> three contact people for the project. At least one of the three contact people must be an <br /> employee or official representative of the local government unit requesting or sponsoring the <br /> project. The City has designated Luke Sandstrom, civil engineer, as the City's representative <br /> in this program; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> 1. The City of Roseville act as sponsoring unit for the Community Roadside Landscape <br /> Partnership Program on behalf of the Midland Grove Condominium Association on <br /> state trunk highway 35W to be conducted during the Spring of 2018. <br /> 2. Be it further resolved Luke Sandstrom is hereby authorized to apply to the Minnesota <br /> Department of Transportation for funding of this project on behalf of the City of <br /> Roseville. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br /> Minnesota: <br />
