Human Rights, Inclusion and Engagement Commission Minutes <br />July 19, 2017 Draft Minutes <br />Page 5 of 16 <br />Commissioner Carey explained there will need to be some sort of investigation into the <br />180 <br />complaints and the names do not need to be made public. <br />181 <br />182 <br />Commissioner Manke suggested this be part of the Commission planning agenda. <br />183 <br />184 <br />Commissioner Carey expressed concern that if they do not begin working on this immediately, it <br />185 <br />will be put on hold. <br />186 <br />187 <br />Commissioner Holub agreed that a subcommittee is a good idea to get things moving. <br />188 <br />189 <br />Commissioner Groff moved and Commissioner Carey seconded to form a subcommittee to <br />190 <br />research this and bring it back to the next HRIE Commission meeting. The subcommittee <br />191 <br />members will be Djevi, Hansel, Holub, Carey, and Groff. She suggested next time, they go to <br />202 <br />Commissions and ask to be on their meeting agendas. <br />203 <br />204 <br />Ms. Olson advised she has contacted the winner of the drawing, but has not heard back from <br />205 <br />them yet. <br />206 <br />207 <br />Commissioner Groff agreed the event went well, he liked the interaction with the public and <br />208 <br />other Commission members, and having the Comprehensive Plan there. <br />209 <br />210 <br />Commissioner Manke suggested they find another relevant item to draw people in next year.
